Introducing The Brand New Thermablaster Vent Free Wall Heater!
After 20 years of the same old designs, Thermablaster stepped up to the plate to redesign and rethink the concept of the vent free wall heater. We knew several things needed to change with the existing design in the market place.
First of all, wall heaters needed to look good. It also needed to be safe and reliable. We started by giving the heater a clean new look with a stainless steel front plate that was comparable to modern day appliances. Now the consumer can finally have a vent-less gas wall unit that merits being placed inside the home instead of a utility room.
Next we closed the burner chamber and placed a gap between the stainless steel front plate and the burner chamber. This free flowing air keeps the unit cool to the touch. Nothing is worse than getting burned on the outside of a heater!
No electricity required means just that, no electricity! We eliminated the need for a blower by using forced convection heat. A blower is often ineffective at circulating air flow in these small heaters and is the first thing to break. Using a ceiling fan is recommended to help with air circulation.
We are not exactly sure who came up with the idea of putting feet on these heaters, but we believe that if this is a wall heater, then it belongs on the wall. Allowing the unit to be placed on the floor is an open invitation for a little kid to get injured. We do not provide feet with our heaters for this reason.
Each of our heaters comes standard with a Thermostat. The thermostat saves money by regulating the gas flow to the heater in direct relation to the ambient temperature. This is particularly important at a time when gas prices are so high. A dual fuel valve allows for either propane or natural gas to be used in each unit. This maximizes the areas in which this heater can be used, while simultaneously reducing the number of SKU’s.
We further reduced the SKU count by just having three heater sizes. The small 6,000 BTU heater is the maximum allowable in a bathroom. The medium 10,000 BTU heater is the maximum allowable in a bedroom. The large 32,000 BTU heater is for a room of 1,100 square feet or more.
We are confident that this new heater line will be the gold standard for all vent-free wall heaters in the market place.

The new Thermablaster web site comes just in time for the launch of our new vent free wall heater line.The Thermablaster wall heater does not need to be vented nor does it need electricity to operate.The new Thermablaster web site helps end users decide which product best fits their needs. A dealer locator directs the consumer to a store nearest to their location or to a web site to purchase the product. After a wall heater is purchased you are then able to register your product. Product manuals are available for download to assist professional installers with installation. Our web site offers a blog to keep consumers up to date with current product and company information. We are very excited to introduce this site to the public as our company begins to release its new product line.
